Shelley Sandzer have completed the rent reviews on all, but one, of the restaurant units at St Davids, Cardiff on behalf of Land Securities and INTU Properties Plc. There has been significant rental growth befitting one of the top shopping destinations in the UK. Phase 2 of the centre was completed in 2009 at a cost of £675 million. It provides a two-tier restaurant and cafe quarter, occupied by a number of convenience and casual dining restaurants. Shelley Sandzer’s instructions extended to The Central Library, which the leasing team initially let on behalf of the Landlords in 2008-2009. Duncan Lillie Head of Professional Services says, “as specialist advisors we were able to draw on our expertise and involvement with other shopping centres in the UK as well as considering the leisure sector in Cardiff in order to deliver our budget rents”.
